Description
'Hime-shojo' is a compact, upright to spreading, deciduous shrub or small tree with palmate, maroon to reddish-purple leaves divided into seven, toothed, narrowly ovate to lance-shaped lobes. Leaves are red to reddish-pink in spring, turning orange-red in autumn. Inconspicuous, red flowers in spring are followed by winged, red-flushed, green seed pods.
