- Tulip Paul Scherer has fantastic, almost black petals with large, oval flower heads on tall stems.

- Planting period: Aug-Nov, Flowering period: Apr-May, Flowering height: 45cm
- Tulips will grow in a wide range of soils provided there is good drainage. They like sunshine but the flowers will last longer in partial shade.
- Planting locations: Ideal for beds and borders. Remove flower heads as they begin to fade. Avoid planting tulips repeatedly in exactly the same spot that they have been grown in recent years.
- Additional advice: Try multi-level planting in pots with others bulbs such as daffodils and crocus.
