- An upright, clump-forming, herbaceous perennial with stiff, upright stems that carry light, feathery, delicate, bronze-coloured foliage. In summer it produces sulphur-yellow, flattened umbels made up of smaller individual flowers at the top of the stems. These are followed by aromatic seeds. Height around 1.8m (6ft).
