- A compact, clump-forming perennial with dark green lance-shaped leaves and clusters of funnel-shaped bicoloured pink and white flowers which have dark brown speckles on the inner petals in summer and autumn.
- Foliage: Deciduous. Habit: Clump-forming.
- Position: Full sun or partial shade. Aspect: North-, east-, south-, or west-facing.
- Soil: Chalk, loam, or sand. Moisture: Moist but well-drained. pH: Acid, alkaline, or neutral.
- Ultimate height: 0.1-0.5m. Time to ultimate height: 2-5 years. Ultimate spread: 0.1-0.5m.
- Free-draining soil or compost. A 'micro variety' that will remain compact. Enchanting creamy white flowers with a dark pink throat and a hint of yellow. Protect dormant tubers with a layer of mulch in very cold winter conditions avoiding contact with roots. Propagate by division. Suggested planting locations: city and courtyard gardens, cottages and informal gardens, patio and container plants, cut flowers, flower borders and beds, or wall side borders. Pull flower stems and leaves, avoid cutting as this will cause damage to the plant. May be susceptible to root rot and soil virus.
